GitHub Contributor – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a remote GitHub Contributor to provide expert‑level code samples, debugging strategies, and development insights across multiple programming languages. The role is contract‑based and focuses on improving open‑source and internal codebases while supporting AI training data quality.

Key responsibilities

• Produce high‑quality code examples, debugging techniques, and technical insights in Python3, Java, Rust, Go, C++, or TypeScript.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software defects and performance bottlenecks in diverse codebases.
• Design and implement new features that are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with best engineering practices.
• Refactor and optimize legacy code to enhance clarity, efficiency, and long‑term reliability.
• Document technical reasoning, solution approaches, and code decisions to enrich AI training datasets.
• Review and validate peer‑contributed code and technical submissions for accuracy and clarity.

Required profile

• Significant hands‑on expertise in at least one of the listed languages.
• Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
• Proven ability to debug complex systems and deliver effective optimizations.
• Experience refactoring large codebases and modernizing legacy systems.
• Track record of delivering high‑impact features from concept to delivery in cross‑functional projects.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Interest in AI technical challenges (no prior AI experience required).
