General Manager

About the role

Inchcape Ecuador is seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead its automotive distribution business in Quito. This senior position will drive the execution of the company’s growth strategy, enhance customer and employee experiences, and ensure strong financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement business plans, strategies and policies to increase profitability, market share and growth.
• Lead the market strategy for Ecuador, aligning with Inchcape’s global direction and making decisions that drive business expansion.
• Champion customer‑experience initiatives to improve reputation scores and overall performance.
• Drive employee‑experience programs to strengthen workplace culture and improve engagement survey results.
• Identify and evaluate new growth and investment opportunities, including new OEM partnerships.
• Manage OEM relationships, negotiations and explore additional OEM opportunities.
• Interpret financial indicators, summarize performance data and guide strategic decisions.
• Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations to mitigate risk.
• Motivate teams to embrace the organization’s strategy, values and execution plans.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience leading a business unit with full P&L responsibility.
• Proven track record in scaling businesses or leading market expansion.
• Strong commercial and business‑development focus.
