General Accountant – Finance & Accounting

About the role

EVINKA is seeking a General Accountant to manage the full spectrum of accounting activities, ensuring accurate records, tax compliance, and timely financial reporting for its technology and electric‑mobility operations in Ecuador.

Key responsibilities

• Record all accounting transactions and keep the general ledger up to date.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor accounts receivable and payable.
• Compile and file monthly tax declarations and financial statements.
• Coordinate month‑end and year‑end closings and support internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with Ecuadorian accounting and tax regulations.
• Produce monthly financial reports and weekly billing and expense summaries.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience as a general accountant, including tax filing and financial closing.
• Proficiency with Excel and ERP accounting systems.
• Strong knowledge of Ecuadorian tax law and applicable IFRS.
• Highly organized, precise, and analytically focused.
