Full-Time English Teacher (On-site)

About the role

Hope Christian Academy seeks a passionate English Teacher to join its on‑site team in Tabacundo, Ecuador. You will deliver bilingual, Christian‑based instruction to students across multiple proficiency levels, fostering strong listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver structured, age‑appropriate English lessons for various class levels.
• Prepare engaging activities and educational materials tailored to student needs.
• Collaborate with fellow faculty on school projects, student progress monitoring, and continuous assessment.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and contribute to curriculum development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English Philology, Translation, or a closely related field.
• Advanced English proficiency (minimum C1 CEFR, certified).
• Proven experience in English Language Teaching (ELT) with strong lesson‑planning abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with students, families, and staff.
• Commitment to Christian educational values and a collaborative team environment.
