French Teacher for Secondary School

About the role

The International School of ... (ISP) is seeking a dedicated French teacher to join its secondary/high‑school team. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality French language instruction, inspire learners and support their academic progression toward exams and further education.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement French curriculum and lesson plans for secondary students.
• Deliver engaging, interactive classes that promote language proficiency.
• Assess student performance, monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Prepare learners for national and international French examinations and post‑secondary pathways.
• Collaborate with colleagues to align teaching practices with school policies and safeguarding standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Education, French Studies or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification and proven experience teaching French at secondary/high‑school level.
• Commitment to student wellbeing, safety and inclusive education.

• Strong command of the French language and its pedagogy.

• Effective classroom management and communication abilities.
