Finance Business Partner – GTM (12‑month contract)

About the role

This 12‑month position supports the rollout of a new SAP S/4HANA ERP system for the GTM (Go‑to‑Market) finance function in Ecuador. The Finance Business Partner will act as the local key user, ensuring that global finance designs align with Ecuadorian statutory, regulatory and operational requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Validate global SAP S/4HANA design decisions against local finance and controllership needs.
• Gather and consolidate inputs from local finance SMEs for Day‑2 target state, including applications, integrations and financial practices.
• Raise statutory, regulatory or local process requirements to the Local Finance Controller Lead and global design team.
• Provide expert guidance on revenue recognition, tax, accounts receivable and accounts payable compliance.
• Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for finance GTM, statutory and controllership processes.
• Coordinate go‑live and cut‑over activities, master‑data preparation, finance controls and issue tracking.
• Deliver on‑site support during go‑live and hyper‑care, addressing user queries and stabilising finance operations.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Ecuadorian finance regulations and statutory reporting.
• Experience with ERP implementations, preferably SAP S/4HANA.
• Ability to work closely with global finance teams and local SMEs.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
