ET Consultant – Investment Analyst, Financial Institutions Group (Ecuador)

About the role

The International Finance Corporation (IFC) is seeking an ET Consultant to join its Financial Institutions Group (FIG) in Quito, Ecuador. The role supports investment officers in designing, negotiating, structuring, and supervising investment projects across Latin America and the Caribbean.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the identification and development of new investment opportunities.
• Create and maintain financial analysis models for loans, quasi‑equity, and equity investments.
• Support the structuring of new investments and the preparation of transaction documentation.
• Provide analytical and research support to senior Investment Officers.
• Help advise private companies on restructuring and the use of risk‑management tools.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of fundamental business concepts and financial analysis.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi‑disciplinary team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Experience in emerging‑market finance or related sectors is preferred.
