Elementary Teacher Assistant

About the role

The Elementary Teacher Assistant will support classroom teachers at Colegio Menor Quito, helping to deliver a high‑quality English immersion curriculum for students from pre‑primary through secondary levels.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in preparing and organizing lesson materials and resources.
• Support classroom management by monitoring student behavior and ensuring a safe learning environment.
• Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group assistance to students who need extra help, especially in English language activities.
• Help set up and maintain classroom technology and learning stations.
• Participate in school events and extracurricular activities as required.

Required profile

• Experience working with children in an educational setting.
• Fluency in English and ability to communicate effectively with students and staff.
• Commitment to the school’s values of goodness, beauty, and truth.
• Willingness to undergo national and international background checks.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, multicultural environment.
