About the role
The Elementary Teacher Assistant will support classroom teachers at Colegio Menor Quito, helping to deliver a high‑quality English immersion curriculum for students from pre‑primary through secondary levels.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in preparing and organizing lesson materials and resources.
- Support classroom management by monitoring student behavior and ensuring a safe learning environment.
- Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group assistance to students who need extra help, especially in English language activities.
- Help set up and maintain classroom technology and learning stations.
- Participate in school events and extracurricular activities as required.
Required profile
- Experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Fluency in English and ability to communicate effectively with students and staff.
- Commitment to the school’s values of goodness, beauty, and truth.
- Willingness to undergo national and international background checks.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, multicultural environment.
