Early Years Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Early Years Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood setting. You will work closely with teachers to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners, supporting their developmental milestones and fostering a love of learning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver age‑appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Assess and monitor each child’s progress and development.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children’s wellbeing and learning.
• Support classroom teachers in daily routines and instructional delivery.

Required profile

• Degree in early childhood education or a related field.
• Relevant teaching certification.
• Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting.
• Commitment to safeguarding, health and safety, and inclusive practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
