Director of Translational Immuno-Oncology

About the role
We are looking for a hands‑on scientific leader to shape and drive early translational validation in immuno‑oncology. The role will guide feasibility studies and lead efforts to secure SBIR and Department of Defense (DoD) funding, while serving as an eligible Principal Investigator for these programs.
Key responsibilities
- Design and execute early‑stage translational research projects in immuno‑oncology.
- Develop and manage feasibility studies that support SBIR and DoD grant applications.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams to advance pre‑clinical validation and data generation.
- Prepare scientific proposals, budgets, and progress reports for funding agencies.
- Represent the organization in interactions with government funding bodies and external partners.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading translational immuno‑oncology research programs.
- Track record of securing or managing SBIR, DoD, or similar government funding.
- Ability to act as Principal Investigator on federally funded projects.
- Strong scientific communication and leadership skills.
