Corporate Attorney

About the role

SERTECPET is looking for a high‑level Corporate Attorney to provide comprehensive legal support across its operations. The role focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance, managing contracts, and safeguarding the company’s corporate and litigation matters.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, NDAs, MOUs and other agreements while mitigating legal risk.
• Prepare legal complaints, reports, filings and coordinate proceedings with internal teams and security.
• Handle legal and administrative procedures before public and private entities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of judicial and administrative proceedings.
• Manage corporate records, statutory books and corporate documentation.
• Support bidding, tender processes and identify potential legal contingencies.
• Conduct legal due‑diligence for transactions and provide advice on corporate, contractual, regulatory and operational matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law with admission to practice under Ecuadorian law.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in corporate law, preferably in the energy sector.
• Strong analytical abilities, autonomy, attention to detail and collaborative mindset.
• Advanced written and verbal communication in Spanish; English proficiency is a plus.
