About the role

We are looking for a General Accountant to lead the accounting and tax management of Imporfrenos. The role requires strong analytical abilities, leadership, and technical vision to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present financial statements and management reports to senior management.
• Oversee the full accounting and tax cycle of the company.
• Execute and review month‑end and year‑end closings using the FÉNIX accounting system.
• Ensure compliance with tax obligations (SRI, Superintendencia de Compañías, IESS, etc.).
• Implement AI‑based tools to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 3 years of comprehensive accounting experience, including financial statement preparation and tax compliance.
• Age between 35 and 55 years.
• Residence in the North sector of Quito is mandatory.

Required skills

• Proficient use of the FÉNIX accounting software.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (financial analysis, reporting, pivot tables).
• Practical experience with AI tools applied to accounting and data analysis.
