Conference Sponsorship Sales Representative

About the role

Opal Group is seeking a self‑motivated Conference Sponsorship Sales Representative to drive revenue by securing sponsorship packages for its virtual and live conferences. This remote, full‑time position focuses on building long‑term relationships with executives and decision‑makers across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outreach to prospective clients via cold calling, email, and social media to generate sponsorship interest.
• Identify, pitch, and close sponsorship opportunities while managing the full sales cycle.
• Maintain accurate lead and communication records in the CRM system.
• Perform industry research to uncover new leads and stay current on market trends.
• Develop and nurture client relationships to support retention and uncover additional business opportunities.
• Attend selected live events to strengthen onsite relationships and provide client support.
• Collaborate with internal teams to share insights and improve engagement strategies.
• Participate in regular team meetings to report progress and contribute to process improvements.

Required profile

• College degree preferred.
• Valid U.S. entry visa.
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• 1–3 years of experience in sponsorship sales, B2B sales, or event sales.
• Proven ability to sell intangible services and articulate value.
• Self‑motivated, competitive, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for live events.
