Commercial Roofing Estimator

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Roofing Estimator to join our construction team. In this role you will evaluate commercial roofing projects, develop accurate cost estimates, and support the bidding process.

Key responsibilities

• Review project plans, specifications and site conditions to determine scope of work.
• Prepare detailed material, labor and equipment cost estimates for commercial roofing jobs.
• Collaborate with sales, project managers and subcontractors to gather pricing information.
• Produce clear, itemized estimate reports and present them to clients or internal stakeholders.
• Update estimates based on design changes, value engineering or market fluctuations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial roofing estimation or a related construction field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills for accurate cost calculations.
• Effective communication skills to convey estimates and answer client questions.
