Commercial Manager – New Business

About the role

Aon is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead new‑business growth in Guayaquil. This hybrid position combines strategic planning, pipeline development, and client acquisition to expand the company’s market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the commercial growth strategy for assigned segments, targeting both new and additional revenue streams.
• Identify market trends and emerging client needs, shaping value propositions that enhance customer experience.
• Build and manage a pipeline of corporate prospects, converting them into long‑term clients.
• Lead the transition of newly won accounts and collaborate with brokerage and account‑management teams.
• Utilise the Aon Connect CRM to record prospect data, update opportunity status, and generate accurate forecasts.
• Prepare and submit high‑quality bids and proposals, coordinating with regional bid teams.
• Provide mentoring and coaching to junior team members where needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial strategy, business development, or sales within the insurance/risk‑management sector.
• Strong understanding of risk, insurance, and consulting services to address client challenges.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple opportunities, and drive results.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
