CloudOps Engineer – Remote (Ecuador)

About the role

The CloudOps team ensures the stability, performance, security, and continuous improvement of our client’s cloud platforms and production environments. As a CloudOps Engineer you will support both production and non‑production environments, automate operations, and help raise reliability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, and support cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS using Terraform.
• Maintain application infrastructure for customer‑facing systems and modernize legacy workloads with cloud‑native services.
• Support production and non‑production environments for deployment, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Participate in on‑call rotation, respond to incidents, and resolve performance, reliability, and scalability issues.
• Follow change‑management procedures, create documentation, runbooks, and operational guidelines.
• Monitor systems with observability tools and collaborate with CloudOps, Engineering, and other teams to ensure platform stability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or a related role.
• Practical experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS preferred).
• Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code concepts, preferably Terraform.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, or New Relic.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Clear communication and collaborative mindset.
