Claims Analyst I

About the role

As a Claims Analyst I you will manage insurance claims from inception to resolution, interacting with policyholders, insurers, adjusters, brokers, lawyers and other third parties. You will operate within AIG’s ethical standards and service framework, ensuring high‑quality service for internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Autonomously manage a personal casebook, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of each file.
• Control supplier expenses and maintain cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members and external service providers to meet both individual and team objectives.
• Uphold service standards in claims management and contribute to continuous process improvement.
• Develop professional expertise in the insurance sector to add value to the organization.

Required profile

• Third‑level university studies in Business Administration, Engineering or related fields (in progress).
• Minimum of 2 years of insurance knowledge and experience.
• Intermediate proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical thinking, negotiation, communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to adapt to change, take initiative and manage computer tools.
