Category Management Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Category Management Specialist to design and execute category strategies for key customers. The role focuses on leveraging data‑driven insights and the RCD process to become the partner of choice and drive growth across the “3 More” opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the RCD (Category Knowledge, Optimization, and Customer Collaboration) process, acting as an advisory partner for customers.
• Develop compelling selling stories and narratives that showcase category expertise and highlight growth opportunities.
• Educate customers through buyer inductions, PR letters, scorecards and specialized CP tools.
• Analyze syndicated data from Nielsen, Kantar, Dunnhumby and point‑of‑sale sources to identify white‑space and category opportunities.
• Generate actionable insights and integrate shopper learnings into daily operations.
• Coordinate in‑field tests, monitor implementation plans and evaluate impact against control stores.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in category management, customer development or consumer marketing.
• Proven experience managing Nielsen and/or Kantar data.
• Strong presentation abilities and intermediate to advanced English communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Google Suite competency.
