About the role

We are seeking a motivated Cambridge Examiner to join EF Language Abroad in Guayaquil. In this hybrid sales‑and‑assessment position you will promote Cambridge English exams, build relationships with schools and teachers, and conduct oral examinations for candidates across Ecuador.

Key responsibilities

• Engage schools, teachers and institutions to increase exam registrations and achieve sales targets.
• Conduct oral English examinations following Cambridge English procedures.
• Complete mark sheets accurately and attend annual Certification of Procedure meetings.
• Be available to examine during a substantial portion of the exam period.
• Maintain professional conduct, cultural sensitivity and clear diction throughout all assessments.

Required profile

• First degree or equivalent.
• Recognised English language teaching qualification (e.g., CELTA, Delta, CertTESOL, TKT Band 3/4, PGCE with EFL/ESOL focus).
• Minimum 1,800 hours of English teaching experience, with recent full‑time teaching within the last 2–3 years.
• English proficiency at least C2 level for C1/C2 exams (two CEFR levels above the exam administered).
• Responsible, deadline‑oriented, detail‑focused and open to feedback.
• Access to a PC/laptop and broadband internet; professional presentation and cultural adaptability.
