Business Development Analyst

About the role

G Mining Services is looking for a dynamic and motivated Business Development Analyst to support the growth of its mining engineering consulting business. Reporting to the Vice President of Business Development, you will help shape new opportunities by coordinating proposals, analysing market data, and maintaining the opportunity portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare dashboards, reports and historical project analyses to establish benchmarks and inform decision‑making.
• Collect, monitor and analyse market intelligence on clients, mining projects and competitors.
• Maintain and regularly update the Business Development opportunity portfolio, assisting with prioritisation and go/no‑go analyses.
• Support the coordination, preparation and submission of proposals and tenders, ensuring compliance with client requirements.
• Assist in the review, formatting and scheduling of technical and commercial proposal documentation.
• Facilitate client presentations, project kick‑off meetings and the transition from proposal to execution.
• Act as a liaison between Business Development and internal departments to ensure alignment throughout the proposal and project start‑up phases.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to work across engineering, estimating, PMO and operations teams.
• Detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple proposal schedules and milestones.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and comfortable in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
