Brand Development Manager

About the role

As a Brand Development Manager at Colgate-Palmolive in Ecuador, you will translate category strategies into actionable market plans that drive share growth and meet P&L targets. You will work closely with commercial, retail marketing and cross‑functional teams to ensure the brand delivers value to consumers and the business.

Key responsibilities

• Present brand strategies and business plans to commercial teams and co‑create channel plans with Retail Marketing.
• Own the brand’s P&L, executing the 5Ps strategy across all categories in Ecuador.
• Develop and implement pricing strategies, manage system price/discount setups and collaborate with Finance on margin and ROI analysis for consumer programs.
• Monitor competitor activity and shopper trends to design high‑ROI promotions and point‑of‑sale activations.
• Coordinate tactical plans with regional hubs and agencies, raise operational alerts and support product launches.
• Propose innovative media alternatives and contribute to integrated media strategy development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial or brand management roles.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
• Proven ability to analyse category trends, translate shopper insights into plans and track commercial KPIs.
• Strong collaboration, influence and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Consumer‑centric mindset with a focus on delivering commercial results in a fast‑paced environment.
