AWS DevOps Engineer (Linux) – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

FullStackFullStack is seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer (Linux) to join a U.S. client’s team on a remote, project‑based basis. You will work closely with designers and engineers, contributing to the delivery of high‑performance cloud solutions across Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate daily with the client’s development team to support and enhance Linux‑based production environments.
• Administer, patch, harden, and back up Linux servers, including integration with Microsoft Active Directory.
• Configure, administer, and troubleshoot relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Puppet, or Chef.
• Build, deploy, and support Java applications (Maven, Gradle, Spring) and Node.js services.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, manage artifact repositories (Artifactory), and automate deployments using Docker containers.
• Monitor systems with tools like Splunk or Dynatrace and ensure security and operational best practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional DevOps engineering experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Proven ability to work on Agile/Scrum teams and handle complex, large‑scale systems.
