AWS DevOps Engineer (Linux) – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer with strong Linux expertise to join our client’s remote team serving Latin America. You will work closely with designers and engineers to build, automate, and maintain cloud‑native infrastructure and delivery pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage AWS‑based infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet or Chef.
• Administer Linux production servers, including patching, security hardening, backups and AD integration.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab Pipelines) and artifact repositories (Artifactory).
• Containerize applications with Docker and support deployment of Java (Maven, Gradle, Spring) and Node.js services.
• Configure and troubleshoot relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server).
• Implement monitoring and observability using tools like Splunk or Dynatrace.
• Collaborate with Agile/Scrum teams, resolve complex issues and contribute to internal libraries.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional DevOps engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) completed.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Proven experience working with Linux‑based production environments.
