AWS DevOps Engineer (Linux) – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

FullStackFullStack is looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer (Linux) to join a U.S. client’s team on a remote, project‑based basis. You will work closely with designers and engineers, contributing to the delivery of high‑performance applications and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate daily with the client’s development team and collaborate on design and implementation.
• Administer and harden Linux‑based production environments, including patching, backups, and AD integration.
• Configure, administer, and troubleshoot relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Build, deploy, and support Java applications using Maven, Gradle, and Spring frameworks.
• Deploy and maintain Node.js runtime environments.
• Implement Infrastructure‑as‑Code with Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Puppet or Chef.
• Automate provisioning across on‑premises and cloud (AWS) environments.
• Containerize applications with Docker and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Monitor systems with tools like Splunk or Dynatrace and ensure security best practices.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional DevOps engineering experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Completed four‑year college degree.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and attention to detail.
