AWS DevOps Engineer – 2‑3 Month Remote Contract

About the role

We are looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join our client’s team on a 2‑3 month remote contract. You will work closely with designers and engineers, helping to build and maintain cloud‑native infrastructure for high‑traffic applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage AWS environments using services such as EKS, ECS and RDS.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, including module creation and workspace management.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins.
• Containerise applications with Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes.
• Apply GitOps and continuous deployment practices.
• Automate configuration management with Ansible or similar tools.
• Set up monitoring and observability using Prometheus, ELK stack or comparable solutions.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams, troubleshoot complex issues and contribute to shared libraries.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud or Platform Engineering.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Proven ability to work 40 hours per week remotely and take ownership of deliverables.
