Associate de Deals

About the role

PwC is looking for a motivated Associate to join its Deals team in Quito. You will support corporate finance and advisory projects by analysing financial information, building models and contributing to value‑creating solutions for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in company valuations using financial methodologies and relevant economic data.
• Prepare and analyse business plans and financial forecasts, validating assumptions against client strategies.
• Develop and validate economic‑financial models to support scenario analysis, decision‑making and transaction structuring.
• Assist in the financial structuring of projects, assessing economic, financial and operational viability.
• Identify and manage financing sources for clients.
• Conduct financial diagnostics, highlighting risks and improvement opportunities.
• Support M&A engagements with financial analysis, valuation, and client deliverables.
• Execute due‑diligence processes by gathering and evaluating financial, operational and accounting data.
• Prepare reports, presentations and other client‑facing materials with high quality and accuracy.
• Adhere to PwC methodologies, internal policies and quality standards, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commercial Engineering, Business Administration or Economics.
• 1‑2 years of relevant experience; audit experience preferred for due‑diligence work.
• Experience building and validating financial models or cash‑flow analyses for valuation projects.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Intermediate to advanced English (minimum B2 level).
• CFA designation is desirable.
