About the role

The Food and Beverage Service Assistant ensures high‑quality service and product preparation in a Quito‑based establishment, guaranteeing an exceptional dining experience while complying with safety and hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve simple beverages and fast‑food items, participating in food quality control.
• Manage inventory: receive products, verify orders, and maintain accurate entry‑exit records.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle administrative tasks such as billing and reporting.
• Open and close the venue, ensuring all procedures are followed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including kitchen, utensils, and materials.

Required profile

• Preferably 2 years of experience in similar food‑service roles.
• Technical education in Gastronomy, Food Handling, Pastry, Chef training, or related fields.
• Knowledge of hygiene, health, and safety procedures in a kitchen environment.
• Ability to use billing and inventory management systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
