Area Operations Head

About the role

The Area Operations Head will lead the strategic and tactical management of telecom operations within an assigned region. Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for driving business performance, overseeing partner relationships, and ensuring the execution of comprehensive business plans.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tactical and strategic market analysis, including retail census and demand investigations.
• Perform P&L analysis for Territory Distributors (TDs) and Third‑Party Agents (TPAs).
• Develop and implement full‑year business plans for assigned partners.
• Manage the total telecom business of the assigned territory, ensuring plan execution.
• Lead monthly business reviews and periodic performance assessments with TDs and TPAs.
• Coordinate sales programs with the Trade Marketing Manager based on market trends.
• Facilitate regular collaboration with TSHs, DSPs, and Team Leaders, addressing field concerns promptly.
• Prepare and submit required reports such as area analysis, competitive intelligence, activity calendars, and post‑program summaries.
• Review and recommend new TPA applications and terminations in line with company guidelines.
• Approve area‑specific information, technology, processes, standards, and strategies.
• Improve sales and after‑sales processes and provide training for TSHs, TPA owners, Team Leaders, and Sales Supervisors.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in market and financial analysis.
• Proven ability to develop and execute business plans in a telecom environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing partners and internal teams.
• Solid understanding of financial statements, including profit & loss and cash flow.
• Knowledge of distribution strategies and channel management.
