Application Architect

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Application Architect to lead the design of enterprise‑scale applications, integration ecosystems, and cloud‑native solutions. You will work closely with engineering teams, stakeholders, and business leaders to create secure, resilient, and maintainable architectures that drive modernization across distributed environments.

Key responsibilities

• Define, evolve, and enforce application architecture standards, principles, and best practices.
• Design scalable, secure, and highly available API ecosystems and integration platforms.
• Guide teams in adopting Domain‑Driven Design, Event‑Driven Architecture, and micro‑service patterns.
• Champion test‑driven development, observability, and automated monitoring across solutions.
• Collaborate with cloud engineers to implement Azure services such as API Management, Functions, Service Bus, Event Hubs, AKS, SQL, and AI services.
• Lead governance initiatives for API lifecycle, service reusability, and enterprise integration strategies.
• Mentor technical staff, influence architectural decisions, and promote engineering excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years in senior architectural or technical leadership roles.
• Proven track record designing enterprise‑scale integration platforms and distributed systems.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and mentoring abilities.
