Analista de Calidad – Inspección y Control

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Analyst to perform inspection activities within our manufacturing operations. The role focuses on ensuring dimensional and positional accuracy of parts and assemblies, supporting UPS’s commitment to high‑quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials, packaging, labeling components, work‑in‑process and final products using basic inspection gauging.
• Generate and submit rejection reports for non‑conforming items.
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with departmental, GMP and ISO requirements.
• Conduct incoming, CQA and final product inspections within the Quality Control department.
• Drive process improvements, report quality metrics and implement proactive measures to meet quality goals.
• Document quality issues, performance measures and corrective actions for management review.
• Prepare and present quality status reports and performance improvement plans.
• Identify and champion resolution of quality problems.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Strong mathematical skills without reliance on a calculator.
• At least two years of experience inspecting mechanical parts and assemblies.

Required skills

• Inspection gauging.
• Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Familiarity with ISO quality standards.
