AI QA Engineer – Agentic Testing

About the role

Applaudo is looking for an AI QA Engineer who will drive software quality through AI‑powered testing and intelligent automation. You will blend traditional QA automation expertise with large language models and agentic workflows to accelerate testing cycles and boost engineering productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AI‑driven testing agents for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Build AI workflows that translate user stories and business requirements into automated test scenarios.
• Refine prompts and optimize AI‑generated test results to improve accuracy.
• Develop and maintain API automation using Playwright.
• Create and sustain mobile automation frameworks with WebDriverIO.
• Integrate AI testing solutions into CI/CD pipelines and document execution evidence.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to evolve testing strategies and frameworks.
• Research emerging AI technologies to enhance testing efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in QA Automation or Quality Engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with AI‑powered or agentic testing solutions.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
