Account Manager – Fintech & Crypto (Remote)

About the role

Veta Virtual is seeking an Account Manager to serve a portfolio of fintech and cryptocurrency clients. This remote, client‑facing position focuses on retaining and expanding existing accounts while acting as a trusted advisor.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of existing accounts across phone, email, chat, and meetings.
• Build long‑term relationships by understanding client goals, operations, and pain points.
• Conduct regular check‑ins, account reviews, and performance updates.
• Own the retention strategy: identify churn risk, execute mitigation plans, and manage end‑to‑end contract renewals.
• Lead renegotiations and coordinate with Legal, Finance, Compliance, and Sales Leadership.
• Troubleshoot issues and coordinate cross‑functional resolution with Operations, Support, Product, Compliance, and Engineering.
• Identify and close upsell and cross‑sell opportunities, maintaining an active expansion pipeline.
• Maintain accurate account documentation, communication logs, and pipeline data in the CRM.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in account management, customer success, or a similar B2B client‑facing role.
• Proven track record of managing contract renewals and retaining a book of business.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build trust.
• Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple stakeholder relationships.
