Senior Manager Principal Gift Stewardship

About the role

The Senior Manager, Principal Gift Stewardship leads high‑touch stewardship for Blood Cancer United’s most significant donors. Working closely with senior philanthropy leaders, you will design and execute personalized engagement plans that deepen relationships and support long‑term giving.

Key responsibilities

• Own and implement stewardship strategies for principal gift donors, coordinating touchpoints with the VP of Philanthropy and Directors of Philanthropy.
• Lead CEO and executive leadership team communications on behalf of the Principal Gifts team.
• Manage intake, processing, and documentation of gift agreements and multi‑year pledges.
• Develop, track, and proactively manage stewardship deliverables and timelines.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Philanthropy, Donor Engagement, Executive Operations, and Mission teams to ensure consistent, accurate stewardship.
• Maintain data integrity within the CRM and generate donor reporting.

Required profile

• Strong judgment and business acumen with experience managing complex donor relationships involving $1M+ commitments.
• Proven ability to work with senior and executive leadership on high‑value stewardship initiatives.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple timelines and deliverables.
