Email Designer – Performance‑Driven Campaigns

About the role

Homestead Studio is seeking an Email Designer who views design as a strategic communication tool that drives conversion. Working closely with the Director of Design and Email Strategists, you will create and iterate high‑performing email campaigns for multiple direct‑to‑consumer brands.

Key responsibilities

• Design performance‑driven email campaigns and automated flows with clear conversion hierarchy.
• Translate strategic concepts into compelling visual narratives.
• Collaborate with copywriters and strategists to elevate ideas beyond execution.
• Contribute to A/B testing strategy and iterate based on performance insights.
• Build scalable, modular email systems in Figma and maintain strong file hygiene.
• Ensure designs meet deliverability, responsiveness, and accessibility best practices.
• Participate in internal review loops and implement feedback efficiently.
• Support internal initiatives such as template development, training materials, and agency‑wide design improvements.

Required profile

• 2+ years designing high‑volume email campaigns for DTC brands.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating performance‑driven creative.
• Concept‑first mindset with the ability to manage multiple brands and deadlines.
• Excellent communication, time‑management, and openness to feedback.
• Comfortable defending design decisions with clear rationale.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Figma (required).
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Familiarity with email platforms such as Klaviyo.
• Understanding of conversion hierarchy, email best practices, and mobile‑first design.
