Database Management Associate (Business Intelligence)

About the role

The Database Management Associate (Business Intelligence) supports UNICEF Ecuador’s Private Fundraising and Partnerships (PFP) unit by ensuring reliable, high‑quality data for fundraising operations. Reporting to the Fundraising Specialist, the role bridges technical data structures with financial goals and drives the visual analytics and data governance strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise database management processes and technical support staff to guarantee data consistency across BI systems.
• Develop and maintain visual analytics, reporting architecture, and integrated dashboards for fundraising performance.
• Implement data governance frameworks and ensure data quality, integrity, and financial reconciliation.
• Provide accurate analysis and insights to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional PFP teams and oversee BI team workflows.

Required profile

• Experience in data analytics, visualization, and executive reporting within a fundraising or non‑profit context.
• Strong understanding of data governance, quality assurance, and systems administration.
• Ability to translate technical data structures into strategic financial insights.
• Proven capability to work under supervision of senior fundraising specialists.
