Wireline and Perforating Engineer – Ecuador (Coca)

About the role

Halliburton is seeking a motivated Wireline and Perforating Engineer to join its Open Hole Wireline team in Coca, Ecuador. The role involves delivering high‑quality wireline services at well sites while supporting clients through data interpretation and operational guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Operate Halliburton Open Hole Wireline tools and provide basic services at the well site under general supervision.
• Apply engineering, mechanical and geological principles to interpret data using proprietary software.
• Coach clients through various drilling scenarios and assist in decision‑making.
• Participate actively in training operators and Associate Field Professionals on Open Hole logging techniques.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Petroleum Engineering, Engineering, Science or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Open Hole Wireline field operations.
• At least 5 years of overall field‑operations experience.
• Intermediate level of English.
