Technical Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Technical Project Manager based in Quito, Ecuador, to lead software development initiatives for our remote team. The ideal candidate will combine strong project‑management expertise with a solid understanding of software and technology concepts.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and deliver multiple software development projects on time and within scope.
• Collaborate with Team Leads to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for client communication and issue resolution.
• Allocate resources, manage staffing, billing, and ensure overall project success.
• Provide clear updates on project status, impacts, and risks to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing software development projects.
• Proven ability to handle several projects simultaneously and deliver successful outcomes.
• Strong business acumen with the capacity to understand high‑level requirements and define success criteria.
• Experience in risk identification, mitigation, and effective delegation.
• Willingness to get hands‑on when needed and work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
