Spring Boot Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Spring Boot Developer to join our global, fully‑remote team. You will design and build scalable microservices and JVM‑based integrations that power high‑traffic applications for leading tech companies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance microservices using Spring Boot and Java.
• Build and optimise RESTful APIs to enable seamless communication between distributed services.
• Implement robust data‑persistence layers with JPA, Hibernate and SQL databases.
• Create event‑driven components and messaging workflows using Apache Kafka.
• Write comprehensive unit tests with JUnit to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Containerise applications with Docker for consistent deployment across environments.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on Java backend development.
• Strong background in building microservices and REST APIs with Spring Boot.
• Proficiency with Java persistence frameworks (JPA, Hibernate) and relational databases.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker and event streaming platforms such as Kafka.
• Solid understanding of unit testing practices using JUnit.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
