Spring Boot Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Spring Boot Developer to join our fully remote team. You will design and build high‑performance microservices and integrate them into a scalable backend ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain microservices using Spring Boot and Java.
• Create and optimise RESTful APIs for seamless service communication.
• Implement data persistence with JPA, Hibernate and SQL databases.
• Build event‑driven components and messaging workflows with Apache Kafka.
• Write unit tests with JUnit to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Containerise applications using Docker for consistent deployment.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong background in Java (11 or newer) backend development.
• Proven experience building microservices and REST APIs.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
