SOC 2 Staff Auditor – Remote (LATAM)

About the role

Insight Assurance is seeking a remote Staff Auditor to join its LATAM team. You will work on SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, HIPAA, and other security and privacy assessments, helping clients achieve compliance and improve their control environments.

Key responsibilities

• Execute day‑to‑day activities of IT audit engagements and readiness assessments under manager guidance.
• Evaluate design and effectiveness of technology controls and document findings.
• Communicate audit results and performance‑improvement opportunities to client management.
• Lead client meetings, maintain proactive communication, and provide weekly status reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, cybersecurity, or MIS.
• Minimum 1 year of experience performing IT audit engagements at a Big 4 or comparable firm.
• Active or in‑progress certification such as CISA, CPA, CISSP, ISO Lead Auditor, or PCI QSA.

Required skills

• Experience with GRC and compliance‑automation platforms (e.g., Vanta, Drata, Secureframe).
