Senior Project Manager – Enterprise Programs

About the role

North Highland is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multi‑track enterprise programs for its Ecuador near‑shore team. You will own end‑to‑end delivery, partner daily with US‑based engineering and business leaders, and serve as the single point of accountability for on‑schedule, on‑budget outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full project plan, milestone gate schedule, and phase budget for your delivery track.
• Track sub‑team progress against fixed‑fee plans and surface scope‑vs‑time trade‑offs early.
• Maintain a transparent risk register, dependency log, and RAID, escalating issues in real time.
• Run Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand‑up, refinement, review, retrospective) aligned to Central Time.
• Drive monthly milestone sign‑off conversations with client acceptance authority and own each acceptance package.
• Monitor DORA delivery metrics and service‑health KPIs, ensuring PRs meet quality gates (SonarQube, Snyk, Playwright E2E, code coverage).
• Act as the primary North Highland contact, run weekly status calls with client engineering leadership, and participate in architecture reviews with CIO‑level stakeholders.
• Manage a Tech Lead, a track‑aligned PO, and the Ecuador delivery sub‑team, conducting weekly 1:1s and overseeing career growth, performance feedback, and retention.

Required profile

• 8+ years of software delivery experience in senior PM or delivery‑lead roles.
• 3+ years of direct people‑management experience (engineers, PO’s, analysts).
• Proven track record delivering Agile/Scrum programs against milestone‑gated, fixed‑fee engagements.
• Strong written and verbal English; daily collaboration with US‑based client leaders.
• Experience managing delivery risk, scope change, and client expectations on large‑scale enterprise programs.
• Hands‑on proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and modern PM tooling.
• Ability to read technical artifacts (APIs, data models, sequence diagrams, ADRs) without translation.
