Senior IT/GRC Auditor – SOC 2 (Remote – LATAM)

About the role

Insight Assurance is seeking a Senior IT/GRC Auditor to lead SOC 2 and related compliance engagements for clients across Latin America. This fully remote position requires you to guide junior staff, interact directly with clients, and ensure high‑quality audit delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead IT General Controls (ITGC) and application control testing efforts.
• Guide and review work completed by junior team members.
• Perform walkthroughs, testing, and documentation for SOC 2, SOC 1, and HIPAA engagements.
• Identify control gaps and provide remediation recommendations.
• Maintain strong client relationships through clear, proactive communication.
• Provide timely progress updates and escalate issues to management as needed.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of experience performing IT audits, focusing on ITGC and application controls.
• Strong working knowledge of SOC 2 and related frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, MIS, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Excellent client communication and project management skills.
• Bilingual in English (required).
