Senior Director – AI‑Powered Vertical Mini‑Series (Freelance, Remote)

About the role

EverAI is looking for a senior director to lead the end‑to‑end production of vertical (9:16) short drama series powered by its AI stack. This freelance, fully remote position focuses on storytelling, not generic AI video generation.

• Collaborate with EverAI’s in‑house AI copilot for character consistency, casting, and trailer creation.
• Write scripts, direct, edit, and finish each episode independently.
• Work closely with AI content creators, the tech team, other short‑film directors, and the executive team.

Required profile

• 4+ years experience directing or show‑running short‑form narrative video.
• Strong instinct for scripting hooks, cliffhangers, and minute‑by‑minute escalation.
• Hands‑on experience with AI generation tools such as Runway Gen‑4, Sora 2, Kling 3, Veo 3, Pika, Higgsfield, and Seedance.
• Familiarity with vertical drama platforms.
• Fluent English communication, goal‑oriented mindset, and ability to work fast.
