Senior Data Engineer (AI Data Platform)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design and operate a scalable AI data platform. You will work closely with AI and data‑science teams to deliver reliable, high‑quality data for advanced analytics and AI‑driven products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable data architectures and data models following Medallion Architecture principles.
• Develop and optimise ETL and data ingestion pipelines.
• Implement and manage Snowflake data warehouse solutions and dbt transformation models.
• Create workflow orchestration pipelines using Dagster or similar tools.
• Manage cloud‑based data storage on AWS S3 and ensure optimal performance.
• Design graph‑based data models where appropriate and support entity‑matching pipelines.
• Collaborate with AI and data‑science teams to enable reliable data consumption for AI applications.
• Provide technical guidance and promote best practices across the engineering team.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proven experience designing scalable data architectures and data models.
• Hands‑on experience with Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) and building ETL pipelines.
• Advanced SQL proficiency and production experience with PostgreSQL or Supabase.
• Experience with Snowflake, dbt, AWS S3 and workflow orchestration tools such as Dagster.
• Familiarity with graph databases and AI/ML concepts including embeddings.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Upper‑intermediate to advanced English proficiency (B2+/C1).
