Senior AWS DevOps Engineer – 2‑3 Month Remote Contract

About the role

We are looking for a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to join a client’s team for a 2‑3 month remote engagement. You will work closely with designers and engineers, contributing to cloud infrastructure, automation, and delivery pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate directly with the client’s development team and collaborate daily.
• Build, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines on AWS.
• Design and manage infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform.
• Support scalable, highly available cloud environments and ensure cost‑efficiency.
• Monitor, log, and troubleshoot cloud‑based systems.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional DevOps engineering experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Proven ability to work 40 hours per week and take extreme ownership.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum teams.

Required skills

• AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, VPC).
• Terraform for infrastructure‑as‑code.
• CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance.
• Scripting with Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Monitoring, logging and cloud‑security best practices.
