Senior AI/ML Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior AI/ML Engineer to lead the design and implementation of our core machine‑learning platform. You will work closely with the founders to shape the technical direction while building innovative solutions for processing complex insurance documents.

Key responsibilities

• Design, fine‑tune and deploy large language models (LLMs) specialized for insurance‑domain NLP.
• Develop end‑to‑end NLP pipelines that extract structured data from dense, jargon‑heavy documents.
• Implement computer‑vision workflows to read PDFs, scanned files and other unstructured formats.
• Build intelligent agents that navigate complex web interfaces using Playwright or Selenium.
• Create training and feedback loops that incorporate user corrections to continuously improve model performance.
• Define robust evaluation metrics and monitoring pipelines for model quality.
• Architect scalable infrastructure for model training, inference and data storage on AWS.
• Collaborate with the CEO and CTO to set technical strategy and roadmap.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional Python development.
• 4+ years of hands‑on experience building AI/ML solutions, preferably with LLMs and NLP.
• Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments and deliver production‑grade systems.
• Upper‑intermediate English communication skills.
