Secondary Teacher

About the role

The school is seeking a dedicated Secondary Teacher to deliver high‑quality instruction and support student wellbeing. The role involves planning lessons, assessing performance, and collaborating with the psychology department.

Key responsibilities

• Plan lessons in advance and email plans to the Head of Level and Academic Coordinator.
• Prepare and organize class materials and maintain an up‑to‑date grade book.
• Design, administer and grade monthly assessments and all assigned work.
• Supervise playground duties and keep the classroom environment engaging and decorated.
• Collaborate with the Psychology Department to support students with academic, behavioral or special‑needs issues.
• Attend meetings, workshops, parent conferences and school activities.
• Record daily attendance and manage homework boards and portfolios.
• Promote open communication with students, parents and staff, and encourage participation in school sub‑committees.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
• Advanced English proficiency (fluent speaking, reading and writing).

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital teaching tools.
• Intermediate‑level Microsoft Office skills.
