About the role
Community Phone is looking for a Sales Manager to keep its high‑velocity sales floor sharp, hungry, and continuously improving. You will turn data into insight, translate insight into action, and measure the impact of those actions on sales performance.
Key responsibilities
- Coach reps through structured 1:1s and small‑group sessions focused on close rate, deal velocity, and conversation quality.
- Listen to calls, review deal outcomes, and identify specific behaviors that hinder sales.
- Break down performance across the funnel (lead → connect → qualify → close → onboard) to pinpoint leaks and differentiate effort versus skill problems.
- Own the improvement lifecycle for low performers: diagnose, coach, implement PIPs, and manage replacements when necessary.
- Maintain a living roster tagging each rep as improving, stable, or at risk, and ensure PIPs are data‑driven and time‑bound.
- Foster a culture where accountability and motivation reinforce each other, keeping the team focused on a customer‑first mindset.
Required profile
- Data‑driven mindset with the ability to turn metrics into actionable plans.
- Comfortable coaching reps and making tough decisions about performance.
- Strong analytical skills to separate activity issues from skill gaps.
- Ability to run structured coaching sessions and track weekly progress.
- Commitment to maintaining a high‑velocity, results‑focused sales environment.
Required skills
- Excel (or comparable spreadsheet tools) for performance analysis.
