About the role
EF Language Abroad is seeking a proactive Sales Coordinator to drive enrollment for its language programs in Guayaquil. You will act as the primary point of contact for prospective students, guiding them through the sales journey and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities through phone, face‑to‑face, online, and social media interactions (non‑cold calling).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their language learning goals.
- Provide consultative selling, offering personalized advice and matching course offerings to client needs.
- Maintain in‑depth knowledge of EF’s courses, destinations, and industry trends.
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and supporting clients throughout the process.
- Collaborate with international colleagues to share best practices and ensure a consistent global experience.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators.
- Participate in brand‑building events such as fairs, school presentations, and university visits.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Tourism or a related field.
- Previous sales experience, preferably in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience in education, travel, or selling intangible services is a plus.
- Strong motivation to achieve targets and exceed customer expectations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English; additional languages are a plus.
- International experience (living, working, or studying abroad) preferred.
