Robotics Engineer – Remote Full‑Time

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Robotics Engineer to join our remote team. You will design, develop, and validate robotic systems that integrate perception, control, and autonomous behavior, working closely with distributed engineering workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design robot software architecture and implement ROS2 nodes, services, and launch files.
• Integrate perception stacks for computer vision, SLAM localization, and sensor‑fusion pipelines.
• Develop motion‑planning and control loops, including trajectory tracking and controller tuning.
• Create simulation‑first validation using Gazebo or Isaac Sim and conduct hardware‑in‑the‑loop tests when needed.
• Build data‑logging, replay tools, and evaluation metrics such as latency, drift, success rate, and collision rate.
• Improve system reliability through QA, regression testing, incident analysis, and runbook documentation.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in C++ and Python on Linux.
• Hands‑on experience with ROS/ROS2 and robot kinematics, dynamics, and control fundamentals.
• Ability to debug distributed robot systems, including timing, synchronization, TF, and QoS issues.
• Familiarity with SLAM, calibration, and sensor‑fusion techniques (e.g., Kalman filtering).
